    The Reckoning by John Grisham Story starts out with a man who's preparing to execute his plan. Once you find out what it is it's rather haunting. Very detailed description of what's going on but we don't know why. As time goes on, after the trial and execution the book goes back in time to when he was in his 20's and what happened in his life/5(30). But in making this case, Hunsicker gives us something even more valuable: a reckoning with Hauerwas’s main sources that offers a new way of understanding the history of the past century of Protestant theology in America, with Hauerwas performing Barth’s theology in a Yoderian mode in response to American idolatries.
